Taci Morris, a teacher from Middleton High School, had the opportunity to take her students to Ghana with Squads Abroad. The squad was an amazing experience that Morris and her students will never forget. During their time in Ghana, they worked in the Narkwa village, where they got to refurbish a computer lab and gave educational presentations on personal hygiene. Community members were so welcoming and eager to learn, and the students were able to make a real difference in their lives.
It was challenging, but it was also incredibly rewarding. The students learned so much about the world and about the importance of helping others. Here is Taci Morris Testimonial:
“Traveling to Ghana through Squads Abroad has easily been the best experience of my life. The community work we engaged in will provide generational educational opportunities for years to come. We worked to refurbish a computer lab in the Narkwa village, while also doing educational presentations on different aspects of personal hygiene. Each community member we worked with became so involved with the projects and everyone was so welcoming. Medassi Ghana.”
